Our research interests encompass a wide range of areas including climate and atmospheric dynamics, Arctic and Antarctic modeling, tropical meteorology, climate change, and climate modeling.
The followings are the major topics of special interest:
1) Climate Change, Climate Dynamics, and Climate Modeling (Monsoon, El Nino, MJO, Tropical Cyclone, Hadley Circulation, Climate Modeling)
2) Arctic and Antarctic Modeling (Sea Ice-Snow-Atmosphere-Ocean Interaction)
3) Disaster Research (Typhoon, Drought, Heat wave, Heavy Rainfall, Changma, Monsoon)
4) Wave Dynamics and Teleconnection (Tropics-Midlatitudes-Poles Interaction, Rossby Wave Dynamics)
5) Satellite Data Analysis (Typhoon Tracking and Forecast)
